Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Print My Plates, LLC (“Print My Plates”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit printmyplates.com, use our online store and customer portal at prism.printmyplates.com (together, the “Site”), or order from us.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company, shipping and billing addresses, quote and order details, the text, logos and artwork you upload, purchase order details, messages you send us, and your account details if you create an account.

Payment information: card and other online payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and similar usage information. We also record when a quote link we send you is opened, so we know you received it.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to prepare quotes; process, produce, proof and ship your orders; provide your customer account; communicate with you about your quotes, orders and account; provide customer support; calculate taxes, shipping and duties; prevent fraud and keep the Site secure; keep accounting and tax records; meet legal obligations; and, where permitted, send you marketing emails.

3. Marketing emails

We send marketing emails only if you opt in (for example, by ticking the box at checkout or on the quote form, which is never pre-ticked), or where the law allows us to contact existing U.S. customers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. Emails about your quotes, orders, proofs, shipping and account are not marketing and will still be sent.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as needed with service providers that help us run our business, including:

  • Stripe (payments and sales-tax calculation)
  • Shippo, UPS and USPS (shipping labels, rates and delivery)
  • Resend (order, proof and account emails)
  • Mailchimp (marketing emails, if you opt in)
  • Amazon Web Services (secure storage of uploaded files)
  • Base44 (hosting of our store and customer portal)
  • Wix (hosting of printmyplates.com)
  • Intuit QuickBooks (accounting and invoicing)
  • Google (web fonts on our website)

We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights, safety or property, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for the Site to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your cart. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add optional cookies in the future, such as analytics or advertising, we will ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time using “Privacy choices” on our store and portal. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of optional cookies and marketing.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. We keep order, billing, invoice, payment and shipping records for seven years for tax and accounting purposes, and we keep proof-approval records and security logs as needed to support orders and protect the Site. When you ask us to delete your information, we delete or de-identify what we are not required to keep.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, private storage with access controls for uploaded files, and limited staff access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to receive a copy of it. You can also opt out of marketing emails at any time. Signed-in customers can manage marketing preferences, download their data and request deletion from the Privacy page in the customer portal. Anyone can submit a request at prism.printmyplates.com/privacy-request or by emailing help@printmyplates.com. We will verify your request and respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as U.S. state privacy laws (for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act), Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), or the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Where information is stored

We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Children

The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
